Three fold brochure for an Underwater Fantastical city

Mare Nostrum-The Underwater City
Some things remain uncapturably vast to the Human consciousness. The great seas would be one of them. While there was a time when we knew less about our Oceans as the inky void surrounding us, those times are now nothing more than a piece of our History. A giant series of gravity defying structures span the watery surfaces of the Earth, flowing harmoniously through beautiful reefs, shoals of marine life, and underwater ravines deep enough to contain the very peak of Everest itself. Here we see the pride and joy of the Human ecumenopolis: The Mare Nostrum. The first man-made creation unfathomable in size to its own creators. One of the most recent and prodigious advancements in the History of Mankind. This city was built off the shoulders of multiple other scientific advances. The rise of Genetic Engineering, high-pressure construction, and hydroponics created a world where for the first time since our ancestors crawled out of the Oceans, we could go back into the Oceans. Back to our very own veritable Dwaraka, stretching out over the continents, powering its own unfathomable beauty with the force of the tides, the life-giving explosions of the underwater Volcanoes, each capable of creating entire islands overnight. Where the people blur the lines between Man and Animal and stretch the boundaries of Humanity. Creating hundreds of subcultures and traditions within this deep underwater Paradise. Much like the Oceans themselves, the Mare Nostrum can never be stagnant. Its depths hold treasures far beyond what Nature intended it to. Artists use bright corals as their living paintbrushes, creating fantastic murals and tributes over hundreds of kilometers. The natural treasures of the Ocean, for so long out of our grasp, finally in reach for us to enjoy.
